For short hair, Linda advises using a sweatband or headband to keep hair in place. She suggests a loose braid for medium-length hair: “A braid is great for all hair types and keeps hair secure and out of your face.” To keep the braid in place, she recommends using hairpins or tucking the ends of the braid under the hair tie.
